A Bit About Mama Tierra
At Mama Tierra Birthing we believe you instinctively know what is best for you and your child. As Doulas and educators, our role is to provide evidence-based information, emotional/physical support, and most important options. When you know what your options are, the power of choice is within you. Without judgment, we can guide you through your pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum journeys. We see that you are just another beautiful human being wanting to bring their child into this world safely. We listen to your concerns and any uncertainties of what life is going to be like after you’ve given birth. It is important to us that families feel seen and heard, especially during such a life-changing experience. Through love and respect, it brings us joy to serve the families of Los Angeles.

Meet The Founder
DESTINEE HALL
Destinee is a Cuban-American Doula who was born, raised, and still resides in the South Bay of Los Angeles. Since she was a child, Destinee always had a nurturing approach to all walks of life. Her passion for caring for others led her to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked one-on-one with children who had medical and special needs. Working with these children and their parents led Destinee to delve into the world of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Through her birth and postpartum Doula training with DONA International, Destinee learned that a Doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. As a Doula, Destinee guides parents and nourishes their roots for their innate ability to birth and care for their children.
